Tasting notes: Fruity nose of black and fresh red fruit; soft and round palate with a nice sweetness and smooth tannins.

Winemaking Details: The whole harvest is destemmed. Part of the Syrah is vinified in thermovinification, while the rest of the Syrah, the Carignan and the Grenache are traditionally vinified. During fermentation, daily pumping-over is achieved.
The wine is then aged in tanks during 7 months.

Additional information: Coming from a lovely cooperative from the South West France which brings together regional winemakers to produce a versatile blended Red wine. A ‘vin de table’ style represented in many a good French bistro and homes. Enjoy at any time.
Located in the heart of the widest vineyard in the world, La cave d’Alignan combines tradition and modernity, first throughout its various terroirs but also with its parcel selection and wine making process.
Under the Mediterranean climate, the terroir benefits from a strong wind coming from the North. This dry wind is a real protection for the vines.
Moreover, they take advantage of a favourable exposure and this enables a slow grape maturity.
